INDIA. Kushan Empire. Huvishka (ca. AD 151-190). AV dinar (19mm, 7.92 gm, 12h). NGC VF 4/5 - 3/5, edge marks. Kushan standard, Gandhara, subsidiary mint (probably Peshawar), early phase. Blundered Bactrian legend, half-length bust of Huvishka left, on mountain top, wearing heavy sideburns, round helmet with crest ornament, crescent on side, diadem with tie and long ribbons to right, and loose-fitting tunic with segmented collar and armlets, flames emanating from right shoulder, club in right hand, sword hilt in left / OAIIO, Nana standing facing, turned right, nimbate head right, hair with bun at back held by diadem, tie and two ribbons to left, wearing three jeweled earring and sleeved ankle-length loose fitting robe, transverse filleted scepter with lion protome in right hand at waist, bowl filled with spheres in left; tamgha with crossbar in right field, dotted border.
