China Commercial Bank of China 5 Dollars 16.2.1904 (ND 1913) Pick A133B S/M#C293 PMG Very Fine 20. The Commercial Bank of China issued its first banknotes series in 1913. The three denominations were all overprinted atop banknotes issued by the Imperial Bank of China. At the time of cataloging, this example is one of only three graded by PMG, and no examples of this type have been auctioned publicly according to traceable auction records. An important offering and an extremely rare type in issued format.
