Small quarto, self-covered as published. 4 pages per issue. Folded for mailing; very good or better. Bourne 1870-47, recording only the six issues present here. The American Numismatic Society Library Dictionary Catalogue lists only the same six issues. The publisher, L.S. He also proclaims that "You can rest assured that The Numismatic journal will be continued one year." The back page of each issue is devoted to advertisements and the remainder contains brief articles, interesting chatter, coin sale announcements and results, occasional listings of coins for sale. Rare. Ex M. Bourne Library.
