Depicting Both 1883 Liberty Nickels

Philadelphia, (c. 1883, see comments). 12mo, original brown half morocco with mottled sides; spine lettered and decorated in gilt; decorative endpapers; all page edges red. Lithographic title frontispiece on verso of flyleaf. 120, (2) pages; text illustrations. Binding rubbed, but sound. Very good. Originally published in 1881, this later emission includes a page following the main text noting the production of the new 1883 Liberty Head nickels, and showing both the variations with and without the word CENTS.
