Sweden 6000 Daler Kopparmynt 1737
P# A74, Written to the parlament member Carl Wattrang. These Banknotes where issued by the Swedish National Bank to the parlament members of the party "the Hats" that where in favour of Russian interests in the swedish parliament. They where issued from the early 1730:s until mid 1740:s and are belived to be Russian bribes to the Hat party to stop the war against Russia and select a Russian friendly monarch. The first part was lost by the Hats that led to the 1741:s war against russia when sweden lost all of Finland. The second part was more sucessful when Adolf Friedrich of Holstein Gottorp was selected heir to the swedish throne after Friedrich I:st. He was brought to Stockholm under protection of the Rusian army and navy. During a political process in the later 1740:s the Hat party and Wattrang was on the losing side and none of these Banknotes where redeemed by the National bank. Carl Wattrang died 26th december 1749. Here we offer three of these Banknotes. The Banknotes with handwritten values where genarally cirkulating until 1750 when they where fully replaced by printed value Banknotes; VF+
