The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | NGC AU58 | Charles II (1660-1685), Five-Guineas, 1684 over 3, TRICESIMO SEXTO, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, emblem-adorned plain sceptres in angles, •+••+• DECVS • ET • TVTAMEN • ANNO • REGNI • TRICESIMO • SEXTO, narrowly spaced and upwards on edge, 41.76g, 6h (MCE 29; Schneider II, 427; EGC 202; Spink 3331), small metal flaw to reverse at 1 o'clock and light sporadic marks in otherwise lustrous fields, the portrait softly struck as usual for type, strictly good very fine, but much as issued, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, helpfully graded AU58 (#6295553-014).
