PERSIAN OCCUPATION OF SYRIA: Justin & Sophia type, ca. 610-630+, AE follis (11.24g), year "6", A-S3500, seated Justin & Sophia, obverse similar to Pottier-78, but entirely different reverse: capital M, but ANNO reading upwards to right and crude numeric symbol for "6" to the left, retrograde B within the M, lovely patination, VF, RR. Possibly a very late imitation struck for local usage after the Arab conquest in the mid-630s.
