YABGHU OF TOKHARISTAN, LOT of 36 silver drachms, type Vondrovec-O.IV (p.428, varieties on p.422-424), "BHL" (Balkh), "year 11", in the name of Hormizd IV (579-590), but struck after about 600, countermark FORO in Bactrian on reverse and the human head countermark on the obverse, nearly all VF condition or slightly better, but all with some chipping around the edge, useful study group, retail value $900, lot of 36 pieces.
