COCHIN:, LOT of 185 tin bazarucos, ND (1663-1724), United East India Company (VOC) cast issue, all with VOC monogram (without 8 above) and cowry shell, about half with normal monogram (KM-2, Scholten-1254) and the other half with inverted monogram (unpublished in KM or Scholten); average grades for most with light to moderate encrustation, though quite a few in choice VF with nice surfaces, some with small casting holes; retail value $5000, lot of 185 pieces.
