GHAZNAVID: Mahmud, 999-1030, AR presentation dirham (16.09g), Balkh, AH415, A-1611R, struck on a broad and thick specially prepared planchet, standard obverse & reverse legends, similar to contemporary regular dirhams, with the mint/date formula in the obverse margin, and Qur'an verse 30:3-4 in the reverse margin, still unique, VF to EF, RRRR, ex Spink Zurich Auction 13, lot 197 (January 1986).
