Great Britain
Anne bronze "England & Scotland Union" Medal ND (1707) MS64 Brown NGC, MI-296-111, Eimer-425. 34mm. Obv. Draped bust left. Rev. British arms upon escutcheon supported on a platform and adorned with rose and thistle, two infant genii support crown above arms, collar of St. George below. A subtle undercoat of amber enlivens the mahogany surfaces while the sharpness of strike, particularly on the reverse, makes this an appealing specimen. This is a type more commonly seen in silver and is the only known example at either grading service. From the Abbeygate Collection of British Medals
