George III bronze "British at Bombay" Medal 1804 MS63 Brown NGC, BHM-567, Eimer-952, Pudd-804.1. 41mm. By Droz and Mills for Mudie. Obv. Neptune reclines, holding Union Jack. Rev. Neptune with trident. Commemorating the settlement of the British at Bombay in 1602 and the East India Company's victory over a French fleet. This medal features skillfully crafted motifs and a bright patina with darker toning emerging around the devices. This is the only example known at either grading service.
