ACARNANIA. Leucas. Ca. 4th century BC. AR stater (21mm, 8.49 gm, 8h). NGC Choice XF★ 5/5 - 4/5. Pegasus flying right / Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet pushed back on head; Λ and caduceus behind. Cf. Calciati 84 (Pegasus left). Cf. BMC Corinth, p. 129, 51 (same). A stunningly toned and lustrous example that looks as though light is radiating from behind Pegasus.
