The important first date for this type from British Honduras, very scarce and seldom offered. This design would circulate for over 20 years, including after the country changed its name to Belize, and it is unlikely that many people at the time paid attention to the different dates. By the time several paper money dealers did in the early 1970s most of the earlier dates were no longer to be found in quantity. An important opportunity for the specialist.
