GAUL. Nemausus. Augustus, with Agrippa. 27 B.C. - A.D. 14. Æ as. 13.54 gm. 26 mm. Struck circa 9/8-3 B.C. Heads of Agrippa laureate with rostral crown to left and Augustus laureate to right back to back; IMP above, DIVI F below / Crocodile right, chained to palm; wreath and COL NEM above; palm branches below. RPC I 524. RIC I 158. Good Very Fine; handsome glossy mottled emerald green patina; light parallel cleaning marks/superficial scuffs. Clear portraits and a fierce crocodile.
