From the Kalevala Collection.
Struck from a die with a surrounding collar, with slippage of the collar. Cf. Clive Stannard, "The Hub from Ancient Spain Reconsidered" (NC 1988), pp. 141-143 which demonstrates that the edge effect on the reverse was caused by a die collar. This coin is the third example we have seen with this effect on the same series. However, given that multiple dies have been observed, it demonstrates that this was a systematic technique for this issue. This effect has not been observed on other issues.
