Bearded head right of the Sabine king, Tatius; palm frond below chin / Abduction of the Sabine women: two Roman soldiers, facing each other, each carrying off a Sabine woman in his arms. Crawford 344/1b; Sydenham 698a; Tituria 2; RBW –. Lightly toned, reverse struck slightly off center, light scratches and minor marks, a few hard green deposits on obverse. Near VF.
