War of Independence Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (c. 1813) VG Details (Tooled) NGC, Cal-1445 (host), Grove-2315. Host: Zacatecas. Ferdinand VII "Royalist" 8 Reales 1811; Counterstamp (VF Weak): Round stamp with eagle and star to left over "NORTE." A most curious and scarce issue that has only seen auction once every few years, and almost never in the upper echelons of preservation.
