Head of Zeus to right, wearing oak wreath; behind, ITAΛOY. Rev. ΘEΣΣA-ΛΩN Athena Itonia advancing right, holding spear in right hand and shield on left arm; above, ΔIO-KΛHΣ and star; on the inner right field, NI. BCD Thessaly II 842. HGC 4, 210. Excellent style, sharp and struck on a large flan. Unevenly toned, otherwise, extremely fine.
