The original printing of the comprehensive standard reference for the Ptolemaic coinage, substantially updating Svoronos, with the first volume devoted to precious metal coinage and the second volume to bronze. The original printing went out of print quickly and remains in demand due to its superior printing, binding and paper quality. Winner of the IAPN Book of the Year award for 2018 and the Numismatic Literary Guild's Best 2019 Specialized Book on World Coins to 1500.
