HGC-3.2, 1750 (for type); Thompson-Unlisted; Muller-Unlisted; Meydancikkale-2705. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, with arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background, and holding crowning Nike; monogram to inner left; ΘE monogram in exergue. Well struck on a fairly round flan, this elegant specimen presents some lustrous brilliance emanating from the protected areas and some very light toning sprinkled throughout.
