Obverse: Bust facing slightly left in military attire and wearing plumed kepi; circular legend in Persian around; Reverse: Lion left, head facing, holding sword in raised forepaw; rising sun in background; all within circular legend in Persian around. Clasp attached at the top. Though exhibiting some cleaning that has left the surfaces a bit less than original, this piece nevertheless stands as a VERY RARE and desirable type.
