Head of Demeter to right, wearing pendant earring and with her hair loosely bound with a ribbon; behind her neck, KPI. Rev. ME Ear of barley with six grains and leaf to right. HN Italy 1528. Noe 502. SNG ANS 378. SNG Lloyd 363. Beautifully toned and with a particularly fine head of Demeter. Slightly rough and with a few surface cracks, otherwise, extremely fine.
