MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 500-450 BC. Hemihekte – 1/12 Stater (Electrum, 8 mm, 1.32 g). Forepart of a winged stag to left, with rounded wing; below, tunny fish to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Boston MFA -. SNG Paris 243. Von Fritze I, 102. Very rare and undoubtedly among the finest known. A perfectly centered and very well struck example. A few faint scratches, otherwise, extremely fine.
