Halfpenny 1796, Pitt hanging, pole with liberty cap, hope & anchor, obelisk with peace inscribed on it, rev, LCS cypher within olive wreath and two-line legend, edge diagonally milled, 30.5mm/11.72gm. (DH 290). Good Extremely Fine, evenly toned and proof-like, superb and rare.
