RUSSIA. Alexander II, 1855-1881. Three colour gold cup by Fabergé's goldsmith Erik August Kollin, ca. 1880, St. Petersburg. 49 mm large, 76 mm long, 42 mm high. AU. 65.83 g. - Very good condition
Gold cup in yellow, red and green gold. The handle is mounted with a Catherine the Great 2 Roubles dated 1785 and three cabochon sapphires. Under the cup, mark of Fabergé, of Erik Kollin and gold hallmark for 56 zolotniks (14 carats). A similar cup is located in the Royal Collection Trust under nr. RCIN 23083, given to the Prince of Wales, future Edward VII, in 1874.
