BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. Obol (Silver, 9.5 mm, 0.37 g, 1 h). ϘPO Tripod with feet terminating in lion's paws; beaded border. Rev. Tripod with feet terminating in lion's paws (incuse); rayed border. Cf. HN III 2075 -2077 (stater, drachm and tetrobol - unpublished as an obol). Extremely rare. Lightly toned. Traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
