BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 460 BC. Triobol (Silver, 12.5 mm, 1.25 g, 1 h). ϘPO (retrograde) Tripod with three ring handles and legs ending in lion's paws; between legs, two erect serpents. Rev. Kantharos flanked by two snakes. BMC 59. Garrucci pl.109, 23. HN III 2126. Extremely rare. Traces of corrosion and minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
