ENGLISH:
The minting of these pieces was done on planchets of 38.5 millimeters in diameter and reeded edge (although a plain edge specimen is reported), homologous to those of a peso and must have been carried out during the same period, taking into account that soon after that the engraver escaped with his son to the United States. According to Richard Long in his Mail Auction Sale 79 (October 16, 1995), in which he offered a specimen like this one, from the collection of Antonio Karam, which, based on a 1920's letter he read, mentions that about 25 pieces were struck.
Estimate: 12400 - 14300 MXN
