CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 20.5 mm, 8.39 g, 12 h). Ϙ Pegasos with straight wing flying right. Rev. Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, inverted trident; all within shallow incuse square. HGC 4, 1827. Pegasi 96 (same reverse die?). Attractively toned and rare type with inverted trident and flowing hair. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
