about Very Fine
According to Thierry the inscription means Treasury of the Domain in Peace [of the Chou]. Most of the specimens recorded from excavations were found in the town of Luoyang, which seems to confirm the interpretation of Thierry. Indeed, that town was located in the royal domain of Western Chou, a small enclave in the kingdom of Han, itself almost completely surrounded by Wei.
