Very Fine
Due to its strategic importance, the town of Lin had a very turbulent history during the 4th and 3rd century B.C. Originally belonging to the kingdom of Chao, the town was destroyed by Wei in 372 B.C. and, during the second half of that same century, it was three times taken by Ch'in, only to be retaken by Chao. Finally the town was conquered by Ch'in in 281 B.C. According to Thierry, the round-holed coins were issued after the conquest by Ch'in. It is obviously not an issue of the kingdom of Wei as stated by Jen.
