CELTIC, Central Gaul. Sequani. Circa 100-50 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 21 mm, 4.22 g, 3 h), 'Grosse tête' type. 'Diademed' celticized head to left, wearing torques. Rev. Horned horse left, with S-shaped tail; behind, four-spoked wheel. D&T 3257 var. (no wheel). Gäumann 70. Very rare. Minor breaks in patina and with some faint scratches, otherwise, very fine.
