CELTIC, Central Gaul. Sequani. Circa 100-50 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 19 mm, 3.85 g, 9 h). Head to left, with hair in net. Rev. Horned horse left, with S-shaped tail. D&T 3257. SLM 764-6. An unusually nice and clear example with a beautiful dark patina. Minor break in patina on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
