CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Remi. Circa 100-50 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 21 mm, 5.95 g, 6 h). Bucranium; pellet-in-crescents above; S-ornaments flanking. Rev. Bear standing right, trampling on serpent. Depeyrot, NC VII, 34. D&T 221. Rare. A lovely example with a nice green patina. Good very fine.
