Palmette made from eight curved leaves connected by a central line ornamented with pellets; above, crescent. Rev. Celticized horse prancing to left; above, serpent (?); below, remains of a monogram. Nick p. 86, H3. SLM 951-954. Rare and beautifully toned. Struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
