Elizabeth I, Half Pound, Second Issue (1560-1561), crowned bust left in plain dress, within beaded border, initial mark cross crosslet both sides, ELIZABETH:D;G.ANG;FRA.ET.HI.REGINA, rev crowned quartered shield, ER at sides, within beaded border, 5.40g (cf Schneider 738; N 1982; S 2519). Once cleaned with some light marks, a little short of flan, otherwise nearly very fine.
