Two diademed and draped busts facing. Rev. Inscription in five lines, naming the Abbasid Caliph, al-Nâsir li'l-dîn and the titles and ancestors of Qutb al-Din Il-Ghazi, as well as a "curse formula" against counterfeiters. IC 1205. Poole 37. S&S type 32.3. Well struck and clear. Very fine.

This is the last series stuck in Mardin prior to the Ayyubid conquest. The coin will be sold with a curse inscription against everyone that "dishonours" it, so please bid for it with that in your mind.
