Uncertain, circa 15th century (?). Seal (Lead, 27 mm, 12.45 g). Half-length, draped male bust to left; in fields to left and right, pearled crosses within ovals, all within decorated border. Rev. Plain. Good very fine.
Exactly where this interesting anepigraphic seal was produced is unclear: it is not Byzantine and may originate from one of the Frankish Crusader states or Italian strongholds in the eastern Mediterranean in the 15h century.
