CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Billon, 24 mm, 6.15 g, 10 h), 'au nez pointé' type. Celticized male head to right, the hair in in large spiral curls and with an S-shaped ear. Rev. Celticized rider on horseback to right, holding long whip in his right hand; below, boar. DT 2340. LT 6598. Well struck on a broad flan. Edge cracks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
