ΠΑ-ΤꟼΑΟΥ Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spearing fallen Macedonian. HGC 3.1, 148. Paeonian Hoard I, 445-7 (same dies). Peykov E2160. SNG ANS 1040 var. (differing arrangement of reverse legend). An attractively toned and sharply struck example. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
