Northern France. Circa AD 1460. Leaf (4.96"x6.89"). Medieval Book of Hours. Illuminated leaf containing Psalms 17:14b-18 in the Vulgate on one side and Job 7:16-21a on the other with a brief interspersed text between. From a prayer book worthy of someone of some means for the time. Gold, red, blue, and white illumination. Ink fully intact. Slight browning and tiny tears at edge. Old code and price penciled in at lower margin. Good VF.
