NGC PF63 BN | Victoria (1837-1901), Proof Half-Farthing, 1853, in bronzed copper, young head left, rev. en médaille, value and date, crown above, edge plain, 12h (BMC [Peck] 1601; Cooke 1624; Spink 3951), faint handling marks in otherwise reflective and patinated surfaces, with further subtle hues of bluish iridescence framing devices, a pleasingly good extremely fine, very rare, and as issued in the exceedingly sought-after 1853 Proof Set, in NGC QR holder, graded PF63 BN (Cert. #6767926-002).
