EIN DUCATEN, coat of arms of Bavaria, straight milled edge, 3.48g, 12h (Friedberg 277; KM 839), scratched to the reverse field above the right lion's tail and otherwise lightly pinmarked, evidence of previous mounting to the edge at 12 o'clock, nonetheless with a brilliance to the fields and a pleasing cameo definition, extremely fine, struck from a mintage of only 1,540 and thus scarcely encountered in commerce, with NGC certification (Cert. #6767980-001).
