SCANDINAVIA. 11th century AD. AR Penny (20mm, 1.14 g, 6h). Imitating the Crux type of Æthelred II of England. Draped bust left; trefoil-tipped scepter to left / Voided short cross; C–R–V–X in quarters. Malmer 'single' chain, 16.1018. Lightly toned, slightly wavy flan, areas of weak strike. VF.
