Silenos, in Greek mythology, is a rustic god associated with drunkenness, revelry, and wisdom. He is often depicted as an older, jovial figure with a potbelly and a fondness for wine, frequently found in the company of satyrs and the wine god Dionysus. Although his outward appearance suggests a carefree nature, Silenos is also known for his profound wisdom and knowledge, especially in matters of philosophy and the mysteries of life. According to myth, he could impart deep truths to those who managed to catch him, often while he was intoxicated.
