SWEDEN. Augsburg. 2 Ducats, 1632. Augsburg Mint. Gustav II Adolf. NGC AU Details--Obverse Scratched.
Fr-111; KM-69; SB-2; Sg-26; Hagander-86; Bruun Auction-907; Bruun-11870. Weight: 7.00 gms. Mintmaster: Balthasar Schmidt. While the obverse shows light signs of wear, including the discreet scratches, the reverse holds much luster. A slight waviness to the flan does not distract from the beauty of this extremely rare Double Ducat with only about five known in private collections.
