An absolutely marvelous portrait adorns this Ducat; expertly cut dies and a precise strike shows off an abundance of wonderful details. The discreet mintmark hides in the obverse legend as a conjoined 'IS' just over the king's head. A true gem regardless of the tiny nick (testmark) before the portrait.
