KINGS of PERSIS. Ardaxšir (Artaxerxes) IV. Late 2nd – early 3rd century AD. AR Drachm (18mm, 2.32 g, 9h). Istakhr (Persepolis) mint. Diademed bust left, hair in bunch above / Radiate diademed bust (of Mančihr [Manuchtir] III/IV?) left, wearing mural crown. van't Haaff, Persis Type 651n corr. (no symbol behind obv. bust); cf. K&M 5/23 (hemidrachm); cf. Alram 652 (same); cf. Sunrise 686 (same) . Iridescent toning, light porosity, flan crack. Good VF. Very rare.
