Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. Æ Tetarteron (21.5mm, 4.15 g, 6h). Thessalonica mint. Struck 1152-circa 1160. Nimbate facing bust of St. George, holding spear and shield / Crowned facing bust of Manuel, wearing jeweled loros, holding labarum-tipped scepter and globus cruciger. DOC 18; SB 1975. Dark green-brown patina. Good VF. A nice example with complete legends.
